Oh Hai There

I’m sorry for not posting in a bit… but i’ll be trying to post more often. But anyways…. I’ve been writing poetry, its weird because i usually get these random ideas after i took a shower  “

“if only if only
the moon wasn’t so lonely
the stars might shine a bit brighter

as i gaze at the night sky
with wondering eyes
as the days go by

as i count the stars
i lose sight of the moon
maybe he’s hiding his scars

don’t go dear moon
i beg of you
please don’t leave so soon

the world still stands
and so should you
for your light on the earth expands

i have many friends
so-called stars
my collection never ends

i search for my moon
here on earth
i hope i find it soon

you know all my secrets
my past and my present
and what scars me the deepest

i don’t want to lose you
you’re my most prized possession
my world will end if i do

if only if only
you weren’t so lonely
the stars could shine brighter

the oceans would grow wider
and everyone will be amazed
by the dark night gone lighter

I wish you were cheese
but i know you’re solid
so stay with us please

you’re part of my dreams
you’re always there
even in daylight when no one sees

moon oh moon
don’t let us down
we don’t want to frown

moon you’re there
even if we don’t care
your always apart of our lives

no one knows
the role you play
to the ones who care it shows

they dare to tease
your work for us
but forgive them please

they don’t see
what i do
you at least have me

if only if only
the moon wasn’t so lonely
the stars would gaze to sleep

as i close my eyes
you light up the night
and our so windy skies

in the silence I sleep
this poem was meant for you
I wrote it so deep
that tonight it was meant for two

your light shines on me
with the stars sparkling too
and that’s the way it should be”
